Turmeric Shot

Turmeric Shot_Slider1
(Recipe is by Haylie Duff and can be found on the Cooking Channel’s site here.)
Step by Step Instructions:

All you’ll need for this super easy Turmeric Shot are: Cayenne Pepper, Ground Turmeric, 4 Lemons, and 1 1/2 cups of Coconut Water.

Start off by juicing all 4 of your lemons into a Mason jar (at least 16 ounces in size) or a pitcher.

Then pour in the coconut water.

Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric and a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the jar.

Pop the lid on the jar and shake, shake, shake until the mixture is well combined. (If you don’t have a jar and lid just stir or whisk the mixture really well. Pour a shot of the mixture in a shot glass or a “shot amount” in a juice glass and enjoy a shot a day! Happy turmeric shooting!
