Step by Step Instructions:
Beer Cheese Dip will be done in no time, and you only need these 4 ingredients: 2 8-ounce packages of softened Cream Cheese (I used the lighter cheese but don’t use the Fat Free variety), 1 envelope of Ranch Dressing Mix, 2 cups of shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and a bottle of your favorite Ale.
Start off by measuring 1/3 cup of beer. Before you down the rest of the bottle, hold off in case you need more beer to thin out the dip once it’s combined.
In a stand mixer (or medium-sized bowl if using a hand-held mixer), add the softened cream cheese, packet of ranch dressing, and 1/3 cup of beer to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients until they are well combined and fluffy. Yummmmmm…
Add the shredded cheddar to the cheese mixture.
Then stir the cheese in by hand with a spatula and taste. If the consistency is thicker than you’d like, thin it down with a little beer and stir until you’re happy with the thickness. Serve with your favorite veggies, chips or crackers, or pretzels and enjoy right away! Happy dipping!
