Dip in a Time Crunch — Taco Ranch Dip

You know those days when we find out last minute that we’re invited to something and need to bring a side, appetizer, dessert, etc.? Well I have the perfect dip for you that is fast, easy, and pretty darned flavorful: Taco Ranch Dip.

A few months back, I was doing a lia sophia jewelry party with my friend, Jessica, and after I’d set up all of my bling, I made my way into the kitchen. There was a spread of food on the kitchen island, and I found myself coming back over and over to a dip she had made.

Luckily she wrote down the ingredients for me, and I put the paper in my purse. When I cleaned out my purse and found the slip of paper, I put it on my fridge for a rainy day. Well, this day wasn’t so rainy but it was the last free day I had before this busy week of travel. So I settled on this dip.

My sister was visiting me, and she’s always a fan of a great dip and I knew she’d love this one. Plus it only had 5 ingredients and looked like a cinch to make…which it was. You just throw all of the ingredients into a bowl and combine away. Refrigerate until you’re ready to serve, and it’s really that simple.

Go with whatever Rotel you’d like. She and I prefer our food with a kick, so I went with the medium level of spice. The shredded cheese is also up to you. I am a fan of cheddar, so I went with a mild cheddar so it wouldn’t overpower the dip. It worked perfectly.

Seriously my friends, the next time you’re in the need for a quick dip to take to a friend’s house or to serve for the next party you host, then stop — you can go ahead and stop right here, and click for the recipe and step by step instructions.
