Coming from A Place of Yes

If you’re looking for a little inspiration and motivation, then I found a great book for you. I recently finished reading Bethenny Frankel’s A Place of Yes and just had to share it with everyone right away…yes, it’s that good!

Some of you may be familiar with Bethenny from Bravo’s TV show “The Real Housewives of New York City” and also her own shows “Bethenny Getting Married?” and “Bethenny Ever After”. While I myself enjoy some good reality TV on an admittedly regular basis, I understand that it does turn others off. The thing that I love so much about Bethenny Frankel is her honesty and frankness. She doesn’t put on a show for the cameras. She is just herself, which is pretty refreshing.

Don’t let her TV shows fool you, she is not a typical housewife. Bethenny came from a difficult childhood and is now an incredibly successful writer, entrepreneur and businesswoman, and chef. Her story is really inspirational and shows the reader that if you have dreams and goals and don’t give up, then everything can come together in unexpected and amazing ways.

Bethenny’s career has sky-rocketed due to her successful Skinnygirl Margarita drink that is available in the majority of states in the US. She took the idea of making a low-calorie, low-sugar alcoholic drink where she knew there was a huge market for it, and turned it into an enormously successful business. Her rules in the book aren’t just for people with dreams this big, but they can be adapted to whatever your situation and passion is.

I found this book both entertaining and motivating, so I hope you pick it up and enjoy it as much as I did. I’d love to know how it changes your perspective on your life. Happy reading!!
