Soundtrack of My Week

While working, I find myself listening to music regularly. It helps keep me focused and productive, so I thought I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite music I haven’t been able ot get enough of this past week.

First off is the singer Adele. If you haven’t heard her new album “21” then go listen to it straight away. It is really beautiful, and her soulful voice makes you forget how young she is, however her talent is never in question. Wow, what a voice and an amazing songwriter!

Next up is an album that I put on a regular rotation to listen to. It is “Carnival Papers” by Steve Reynolds. Holy moly, this album is so good. I honestly cannot say that there is one song that I don’t truly love. This is a must listen-to album…trust me.

Finally I came across this next band on a recommendation from Cary Brothers on Twitter. If they are good enough for him, then they are good enough for me. (And if you don’t know who Cary Brothers is, then check out his albums “Under Control” and “Who You Are” because he is awesome!) Back to this band…it is made up of a guy and girl who sing folk music together and they are called The Civil Wars. Their lyrics and songs are beautiful, as are their harmonies. “Barton Hollow” is the album and I find myself coming back to it day after day.

Check these out and let me know what you think…Happy Listening!!
