Pomegranate Salsa

(Found on the Tasty Kitchen site here)

Step by Step Instructions:

Here is everything you will need for salsa bliss: Bowls to put prepped ingredients in, knife, spoon, cutting board, 3 medium tomatoes, 1 jalapeno, 1 cup of pomegranate arils, cilantro, 1 lime, 2 green onions, sugar, and salt and pepper.

Cut up all ingredients.  Don’t forget with the jalapenos to remove the seeds and ribs and then wash your hands, full stop!  Then I combined each ingredient in the order listed in the recipe.  Another tip is to take the palm of your hand and roll the lime on the cutting board to get more juice out of it before cutting it in half.  Then I just squeezed the lime juice right over all of the ingredients.

I stirred everything together and ended up adding a smidge more freshly cracked pepper and salt.  Then I marveled at how lovely it was, but it didn’t take me long to grab a chip and take a bite. Please make this dish right away!  Okay, now I’m going to need to go have some salsa…I’ll be back!

Pomegranate Salsa Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 whole Medium On The Vine Tomatoes, Diced
1 cup Pomegranate Arils
½ cups Cilantro, Chopped
2 whole Green Onions, Sliced
1 whole Jalapeno Pepper, Minced (ribs And Seeds Removed)
1 whole Lime, Juiced
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

2. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve with tortilla chips.
