Anyone that knows me is well aware of my passion for movies. One of my favorite things to do any day of the week is to head to the movie theater and get lost in the world of a film. I’m also a big fan of food, in case you haven’t been able to tell from glancing around this blog! 😉
Thus my idea of a tiny slice of heaven would be a movie theater that serves real food in a comfy environment. Now there are lots of great movie theaters around the country that have a little dinner theater setup. The place that I am highlighting here is one that I frequent on a regular basis.
Here is a photo of what you could expect in the Fork and Screen theaters AMC Theatres is a national company that has begun setting up what they call “Fork and Screen” areas in some of their theaters. So if you’re lucky enough to live in any of the following places, be on the lookout for a “Fork and Screen” in the area:
Atlanta
Dallas
Kansas City
New Jersey (3 Locations)
Orlando
The menu includes a wide variety of options to suit just about anyone’s needs. Plus there is a dessert menu, wine, beer, and mixed drinks, and then usual concession stand food. So if you’re there and you’re hungry or thirsty, you will most definitely find something that satisfies your cravings. Then you just pay for your food and drinks near the end of the movie, and by the time the movie ends, you’re all paid up and can leave without any delay!
The seating is fabulous. In Fork and Screen, you get a cushy, leather chair. Then there is a long bar in front of you where you can eat and drink throughout the movie. Now some of these theaters also offer another viewing experience called “Cinema Suites”, which is a little pricier, but you get the same great menu in addition to leather recliners.
The Cinema Suites experience complete with leather recliners! It’s a fabulous way to enjoy the latest movies with your friends, family, or your special someone! For more information on this particular experience, head to AMC Theatre’s website here. Please note that I have no connections to this company, and that I am just a huge fan! Happy theatre-going!
