(Recipe can be found on the site The Devil’s Punchbowl here.)
Step by Step Instructions:
Grab some butter (you only need about 1/2 tablespoon for 1 filet), salt and pepper, 1 lemon, and a salmon filet and you’re on your way.
Begin by preheating your oven to about 350 degrees. Then slice up one lemon.
Then I laid out a sheet of tin foil. I placed 6 lemon slices on the sheet and put the salmon filet on top of it.
Then I sliced about 1/2 a tablespoon of butter into thin pats and topped it with freshly cracked pepper and salt. You really don’t need much butter at all, so don’t go crazy.
Then wrap up the packet tightly and bake it until the fish is about 145 degrees. Again the handiness of a digital thermometer can never be mentioned enough.
Here is the finished salmon filet. It smelled so delicious, which is pretty great seeing as not much effort or ingredients were involved. Then I just moved the filet to a plate and served it with a yummy side. Check out the Creamy Garlic Broccoli dish that I made to go with it…also crazy easy and delicious!

2. Slice the lemon into at least 6 slices and place a layer of 6 (2×3) on the tin foil.
3. Place salmon filet on top of the lemon slices. Then top with thin pats of butter (I only used about 1/2 tablespoon, so you really don’t need much) and season with freshly ground salt and pepper.
